Most Important?

Okay, I've always wondered what would be most useful in life? I personally would think it would be Wisdom, at least my perception of Wisdom (which is Experience)

Luck is everything. Luck can do anything the other two can do, and more.

You sorely underestimate the power of chance.

But you can't rely on chance but you can rely on your own wisdom/intelligence or the wisdom/intelligence of others.

This is asking what is most important in life. Where would you be without luck? You'd get no where. And evan if you dont think you can rely on luck you might want to ask david about my amazing Karma god powers.

I donno about you, but snaking past 15 people on a waiting list into college, getting a girlfriend without trying to get one. ;P

Luck is not the same as chance. Chance is a number % of the likely hood of something happening. Luck however is a different enity in itself.


Take it this way, anything you can do with wisdom and knowledge, luck can do better. Given the choise between these three, i'd go with luck all the way.

Go ahead keep your smarts, i just hope your not unlucky enough to wind up with a mind altering illness or disease that limits your capacity to use your wisdom or intelligence. I sure hope you live a long life as well, born to the right family, have the same luck at finding jobs, easily getting girls(pretty, smart, whatever). I'm sure friends will come easy as well. Let alone being born to the right country where you are allowed to use your valued intelligence. You may be smarter then me, but i will live a more fullfilled life should you choise the other ones.

Again Luck is the most important out of those all and it's not even a contest. The ignorant wish to be smarter and the smarter wish to be ignorant. XD Gotta love the irony of history.

Yeah, but luck does not always hold up. What would happen if your luck went out? You would lose everything. But if you had the first two, and luck, then if luck ran out on you, you would still be able to keep yourself a-float

The thing is luck is infinite. Knowledge and Wisdom is Finite. You can only obtain so much before you cap at your potential. Luck will never run out.

This question is posed as a choice between the three, i'm assuming it's asking if you had to go without the other two which would be the most important. Again Luck would be the most important.

If it's a choice like that your luck would never run out, and you guys seem to think short term. Luck "Never Runs out" when someone "runs out of luck" it's only for a brief time. And if they have luck on their side, their "bad luck" time wont be long, and they'll be back and doing even better then before.

I'm sorry but that's just the way it is. Luck will beat out Wisdom and Intelligence.

If the question was posed, "If you had all three of these" which would be most important then i might agree still. If luck runs out it just means your just like the other guys with wisdom and intelligence for they never had luck. and they are as you said SOL all the time. So it's moot point, the luck man will always win out in the end, and that's the bottom line.

Infinity beats Finite.

yes, but ur basing ur answer on if the luck is infinite.Some people actually do rely solely on luck, and they live homeless on the street, and they are dying. others that have done so are dead. If luck was so infinite, these people would not be in the situations they are in. But with knowledge, you can support yourself in life, get a job, and maybe even earn more money than is worth it. Wisdom is not as important as Knowledge, because it can't replace what you know in your head. Wisdom is nearly as useless as luck, actually.
